Today we visited the València campus with professors from the Transilvania University of Brasov. They visited the design and manufacturing Institute (IDF) and the institute of biomechanics (IBV).
The edu4plastic Transnational Project Meeting (TPM3) continues today, April 11th. Partners from Romania (Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara and Universitatea Transilvania din Brasov), Italy (Universita degli studi dell’Insubria), Slovenia (Faculty of environmental protection Velenje and Dermol svetovanje, d.o.o.) and Spain (Universitat Politecnica de Valencia) will meet in UPV Valencia Campus.

We are participating in the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2025 under the theme «Literacy for Life» and as part of the festival the «Digital Services & Senior’s Inclusion (DSSI)» project: The potential of a Libraries & Communities Alliance in the post COVID Era» EU project will be featured in a special session at the festival dedicated to the DSSI project.

CircSyst (Circular Systemic Solutions for Plastic, Packaging, Bio-Waste, and Water) is an innovative project funded by Horizon Europe and coordinated by AIJU, which brings together a consortium of 32 public and private organisations from eight European countries: Spain, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Sweden, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and the UK. With a duration of 36 months and a grant of €10,244,330.61, CircSyst aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy by developing and scaling replicable solutions across Europe.
The project focuses on three key value chains identified in the European Commission’s Circular Economy Action Plan: water management, bio-waste recovery and plastic and packaging waste reduction. These solutions will be validated in nine demonstrators located in regions committed to the circular economy, including Riba-roja (Spain), Podravje (Slovenia), Flanders (Belgium), Visby (Sweden), Paijat-Hame-Lahti (Finland), Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), Thessaloniki (Greece) and Central and Eastern Hungary.
